We’d like to thank everybody 4 the completely unexpected result of our presence here in Jamendo.
The Kitchen Session, an improvised session played in a few hours, seems to be our “best success” and, including Basel Session and our first album, Haustillio, we reach over 5.000 clicks with 400 persons downloading our works. Well, we are so glad to be in your hard disk and devices, thanks so much.
Some news about Downlouders collective:
Every summer Downlouders collective produces an LP. The first one was Haustillio, recorded in Tuscany in august 2009; last year, in summer 2010, we went to Normandy to compose and record a concept album inspired by science fiction specifically focused on Robots. It’s called “Asimov” and we are publishing it the next month (october 2011).
Well it was a long long mixing time period. Actually we have 2 new albums ready, because we worked this summer too: the last Downlouders work is an electronic instrumental trip that tries to be something-like-dance, written and recorded in Sassuolo (Italy) in summer 2011. No title yet, we actually call it 5family. It will be ready in the next months.
Asimov, beacuse of his very imaginative world witch is something that our generation has well kept in mind, as an impressed collective imaginary, has italian lyrics (our native language) with a very conceptual and fantasticly designed artwork created by our great friend: Andrea “Tsuna” Tommasini.
Here’s the official cover, as an exlusive preview.
Take care, and downloud !
